Sam Amoforitse is a transformational business executive leader
with over 29 years professional experience that cuts across several FMCGs multinational companies in Africa and Europe. He is an experienced individual with strong analytical, communication and proven solution-focused skills.
Sam has held several senior leadership positions in Diageo, Nestle-UK
LafargeHolcim, Nigerian Breweries Pic, Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company and UACN Pic.
While at Heineken UK, Sam played a strategic role in change management and process upgrade from manual to high-tech automation systems, post-acquisition of Scottish & Newcastle by a consortium of Heineken and Carlsberg.
On his return to Nigeria, Sam headed the Health and Safety Function in LafargeHolcim (Cement), worked in Nigerian Breweries Pic as Head Brewer. He also worked in Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company as Regional Manufacturing Director (Central Region) and Operations Director (Central & West Regions).
Sam joined UAC Foods Limited in October 2018 as General Manager (Manufacturing) and was responsible for the transformational growth of the Function. He was later appointed to the board of UAC Foods Limited as Executive Director - Manufacturing. In January 2023, he decided to pursue his career outside the company, and he is currently with GPC Manufacturing Limited as Managing Part- ner/CEO.
Sam holds B.Sc. in Microbiology and M.Sc. in Environmental & Public Health Microbiology from the University of Benin. In addition, he holds an MBA from Kingston University (UK), a diploma in Brewing & Packaging from the Institute of Brewing and Distilling (London) and has attended several executive programs at leading Institutions including the Lagos Business School, London Business School and IESE Business School, Spain where he attended Global Advanced Management Program (GAMP).
He is a certified ISO Lead Assessor and a member of the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health, UK. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC).
Sam is passionate about helping the less privileged, and the development of organization’s talents. He is a Football enthusiast and is married with children.
